masterclasses with experts. We have two rooms and 10 slots for our masterclasses with space up to 32+ people at any one time, per room. More information on who is holding a masterclass, what time and what room, can be can be found below.

Room 1: Bee Urban
Bee Urban is located on the roof terrace above the venue at K-märkt and is accessible via a spiral staircase from the courtyard, or a lift from the main venue, and offers 400 square meters of cultivation, beehives and oasis for biological diversity.
The room seats up to 32 people in the greenhouse found in the middle of the garden.

Before Sweden Rum Fest even begins, two rum enthusiasts are kicking things off with the ultimate rum tasting of the year—without stealing any time from the main event! Get ready for a one-of-a-kind experience, packed with exciting surprises and extraordinary rums. Rum expert Romrobban has invited none other than the king of rum, Marcos 'Ruminterest' Pilavakis, all the way from London, UK! Together, they have hand-selected a secret lineup of unique and exceptional rums that will take your taste buds on an unforgettable journey.

Chocolate and Rum Pairing with Duane Dove from Small Island Chocolates

Book a tasting with rum connoisseur and cocoa grower Duane Dove, owner of an organic cocoa farm in Tobago and multiple award-winning chocolate. Duane is also a rum book author and has written several books about rum and chocolate, and visited over 200 rum distilleries in the Caribbean and South America. We will try four different kinds of aged rum as well as our own single estate chocolate and chocolate creations. This combination of rum and chocolate produces new taste sensations.
You will even have the chance to buy Duane's books and chocolates.

Join us on a journey through the world of rum from Plantation Rum's perspective and explore the diverse terroirs as we taste rums from the Caribbean, the Pacific, and the Indian Ocean. Gain deeper insights into how different countries and distilleries work with fermentation, distillation, and aging, and understand how these processes influence the unique character of Plantation Rum.

Room 2: Chambre Separée

The Chambre Séparée is conveniently located in the main exhibition hall with our exhibitors. Here, you can sit, learn and taste with the atmosphere of the festival in the background. The room seats up to 35 people.

Embark on a flavorful voyage across the sugar cane rhum world, with stops in Réunion (Savanna), Martinique (Rhum J.M), and Haiti (Barbancourt). Discover the distinct personalities of each island’s spirit, shaped by terroir, tradition, and time. This immersive tasting dives into the shared history and unique expressions of true sugar cane rhum—no passport required, just your palate.

Discover a fantastic Chocolate & Rum tasting – dive into what may be the world’s most versatile spirit, rum, paired with fine chocolate! One of Europe’s leading rum producers visits us in Stockholm with a highly appreciated tasting of both rum and chocolate. This tasting is perfect for both beginners and connoisseurs, as an experienced host guides you through the world of rum – complete with delicious dark chocolate!
We’ll be tasting a selection of Caribbean rums, featuring exquisite products from Panama and the Dominican Republic: Companero Panama, Cristobal Niña, Patridom Gran Reserva, Patridom XO, and a Secret Product — Welcome!
